The passionate innovators behind Kim Agri Nexus
📍 Gakui Karima Mwaro, Kandara Sub-County, Murang'a County
⚙️ Alumni, NYS Camp Engineering Institute
Kefin was born and raised in Gakui Karima Mwaro, Kandara, Murang'a County. Growing up in a farming family, he witnessed firsthand the challenges smallholder farmers face daily – unpredictable weather, pest outbreaks, unfair market prices, and lack of access to financing.
After training at the NYS Camp Engineering Institute, Kefin gained expertise in engineering, technology systems, and problem-solving. He built Kim Agri Nexus from the ground up and has led it to serve 12,500+ farmers with zero outside funding – proving his execution ability and resourcefulness.
Kefin's vision is to see a food-secure Africa where every farmer, regardless of farm size, has access to smart technology. He believes that technology should not be a luxury – it should be a tool for empowerment.
